We choose the right light for your ideas.
Fully profiled workflow with consistent colour management.
We compute a printer-specific colour profile for every print medium. We ensure optimum conversion of the colour space of your file to the print colour space by using an RIP (raster image processor) which computes the printing data from your image data. We work with 11-colour printing using the Epson Stylus Pro 9900 large-format printer and original Epson UltraChrome HDR inks.
In the premium sector, we print only unidirectionally for best-possible quality. This means that the print engine shoots ink only when moving in one direction and returns in the other direction without shooting ink. Admittedly, this means that we require twice as long to print but the resultant printed result is far better.
We offer you a broad selection of papers with greatly differing characteristics.
The widely diversified range of available papers allows an incomparably more vivid effect than PE photographic paper could ever do thanks to the use of organic materials such as cotton, bamboo or alpha-cellulose, and using UV-stable pigment inks means that pictures last incomparably longer than classic photo-chemical enlargements. Assuming high-resolution data, this allows extremely fine details to be imaged. We will be more than pleased to send you a selection of our paper samples on request. We can generally supply you with specimen prints of your own pictures or artwork on your paper of choice; we bill you for one DIN A4 print accordingly and this is credited if you order a printed item.
We can print virtually any format of choice.
You are not restricted to standard formats and we can print virtually any format you wish – limited only by the available reel widths of your paper of choice!
We offer you a wealth of advice and flexibility in order handling. We check your data as regards colour profile, resolution, gradation and aspect ratio and we adjust it if necessary after consulting you.
This is how you can play your part in achieving an optimum result: one requirement for a realistic colour print is embedding your colour profile – we welcome a wider colour space than Adobe RGB or ECI-RGB. We can also easily handle 16-bit data. The best file format is TIFF. Please do not convert your RGB data to CMYK but don’t convert it back either. Please do not hesitate to ask us if you are unsure before you process your data for our printers.
